Our country, the Philippines, is vulnerable with threats and disasters. A disaster dreadful to individuals. The root of these occurs naturally and sometimes aggravate due to stricken panic. Geographically located, our country’s exposed to frequent typhoons, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions, the Pacific Ring of Fire, it is naturally slyer. With 25% Filipinos living below the national poverty line, recovering is difficult, the cost is distinctively triggering.
Facing these extremes, disaster is unpredictable. Planning what to do is a consequential root of progress, challenges still rise. Enlightened awareness and addressing with apprehensive efforts fills the gap from the start. With resilience, it’s our power to recover. Well a disaster unveils the communities’ powers in overcoming ineffable resilience amidst the challenges occurred.
