Our Superhero For Our Future

I was just a little kid. I was young and stubborn. I was struggling in school and felt like a loon. A vibrant door that I’ve entered leads me to a warm embrace. These heroes lifted me up with hope and encouragement. It was silly to think that they teach with some superpowers. At school, it’s always an adventure. Their dedication in teaching is an enchanting movement in influencing a students’ life. There is so much more that a teacher holds.

Their power extends far beyond the classroom as they inspire students to reach their full potential. Despite facing challenges, teachers remain shining. Through a positive learning environment, two-way learning is navigating both students and teachers in a guide to successful tomorrows. There are individuals we admire in different fields. They have experienced it too. Teachers were also their second parent. Unleashing the students capabilities in teamwork and perseverance had shaped them to a great path with these teachers by their side. They are not just instructors but they are heroes for the future.

Masks and capes are not always the signs of a qualified hero. Well, these heroes can shape the nation’s future. To individuals in different fields, they've learned from these heroes, our teachers. In what they passionately teach, we learn, experience and apply. In learning, it is endless. Through endless trials and mistakes, we can always learn again. Teachers do have the enchanting power in their touch, mind, and heart. I am just a little learner. I am eager and growing. In school, the gleaming future we have are unleashed due to our teachers’ powers. I am grateful in their empowering embrace.

Radiance in Resilience

Our country, the Philippines, is vulnerable with threats and disasters. A disaster dreadful to individuals. The root of these occurs naturally and sometimes aggravate due to stricken panic. Geographically located, our country’s exposed to frequent typhoons, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions, the Pacific Ring of Fire, it is naturally slyer. With 25% Filipinos living below the national poverty line, recovering is difficult, the cost is distinctively triggering.

To adapt to these challenges, the government’s steps are worth-remarking. A highlight in developing resilience, developing disaster risk reduction awareness creates a gleaming consciousness to fellows. The community’s strength remains timeless. Immersed with the united and harmonious, it abides with resilience. Each one plays a role, the Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM) act establishes local communities to national to exhibit a change to lessen the risk.

Facing these extremes, disaster is unpredictable. Planning what to do is a consequential root of progress, challenges still rise. Enlightened awareness and addressing with apprehensive efforts fills the gap from the start. With resilience, it’s our power to recover. Well a disaster unveils the communities’ powers in overcoming ineffable resilience amidst the challenges occurred.

Letter to the President

Dear Mr. President,

I trust this letter finds you in excellent health and high spirits. I wrote this letter not to represent as only one individual but to represent fellow Filipinos to show concern and ask regards to the country’s issues. Natural calamities had made a dreadful impact on individuals, especially farmers. Agricultural lands are progressively being transformed for non-agricultural reasons, such as urban expansion, undermining food security and rising commodity prices. These fields for farmers are their treasures. In the field of agriculture, investing in technology can drastically affect the production by the means of the needs of the farmers.

Poor farmers frequently lack the funds to invest in contemporary agricultural technologies such as better seeds, fertilizers, and systems for irrigation. Without this modernized access, sticking to the methods traditionally, it affects its system in terms of productivity. Affected by the disasters, an innovative  blessing is a bright chance to their livelihood. We can achieve inclusive growth and long-term poverty reduction by establishing an enabling and responsive policy environment. In the livelihood and future of this country, a glimpse of its current state, us Filipinos our wish is to fuel with your greatest assistance for their future.

With dearest sincerity, writing this letter is my request for your vital action.

A Fragile Girl

I have blurry vision but I have clear vision. I, Margarethe Nathania B. Albalos, a sixteen-year-old girl, I'm still discovering who I am. Growing up with a simple life with my family in our warm home is more than enough. With my red-framed glasses, that's the first thing they seem. Seeing simple things in life as it passes by my sentimental heart, it is valued within just who I am today.

As a student, entering the school with determination, not only by myself. Without my fellow students, how would I've endured this thrilling and exhausting ride sitting in the STE passenger seat. As a daughter and the eldest under a humble home by being me, I can grow up merrily. As life passes by, I'll cherish it each time. With my very best, I hope to be well and keep mine with care. With music, arts, and more, it's a colourful stroke remaining vibrant. Growing up feels weird but I'll enrich fortitude for the future. The future is intimidating—after all, I'm still a girl with a dream to achieve.

Achieving my dream, to be a successful hematologist, takes time. Each stepping stone, taking it slowly, patience is vital. To be a grown-up one day, these thoughts are overwhelming. Helping my parents one day is such a dream. I hope my younger self would also be proud of who I’ve become. A fragile girl and the story continues, it’s my first time living. Even with my blurry vision and my clear vision, your fragile young girl endured.
